Mount San Jacinto - San Jacinto Mountains. We decided to reach this summit a less traditional way. Instead of getting a little help from the Palm Springs Tram, we started from Fuller Ridge. Our day in a nutshell: 6:30 a.m. departure from Irvine - 3 hour drive - 15 mile hike with 5,000 feet of total elevation gain and loss - 3 hour drive home. We got home at 9 p.m. that night. Ouch!
