Title: Desert Highway

Location: Sand Dunes - Death Valley National Park, California

My father and I race the sun to the sand dunes. We win. Strong shadows begin to appear between the ripples. A creature's meandering path is highlighted by the low angle of the morning light. This "highway" will probably be erased today. I feel a breeze. The wind is ready to start painting on her canvas again.
